The first release (Dec 2016) by David Barnicle & The Mystery Force.
A conceptual record exploring (in the title track) The Mayan culture and its veneration of all encompassing power of the sun, its cycles and how it affects earth is the inspiration behind Human Sacrifice. Mayan and Aztec themes, particularly 'sacrifice' are used to dress up more universal themes like the purpose of fear and the potential in humans either realised or sacrificed for greater causes.
Cinematic, atmospheric, tribal, psychedelic rock music.
